If you are enrolled in Medicare Part B or a Medicare Advantage plan, Medicare will cover certain COVID-19 tests. These tests will be covered in addition to any over-the-counter tests that may be offered as a supplemental benefit under your Medicare Advantage plan. However, if you only have Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) coverage, Medicare will not cover over-the-counter COVID-19 tests.
